Have you checked whether they have later tablet drivers than what came in

the box, Shelley? Technote #13490 describes how an older Wacom tablet used

to have exactly the same behavior, and it could be fixed by changing the

settings or changing the driver:

"Pencil and Brush Tools Draw an Extra Line on Stage"

(If you already have the latest Pablo driver, and if it doesn't offer a

settings choice similar to the older Wacom issue, then you might consider

checking whether they have an older driver version, or whether there are

any other settings in that driver that can be changed... when such problems

have appeared in the past it's been only in a narrow range of tablet

functionality, so poking at the tablet a little can help too.)
