Sorry, the browsers do vary, and the tiny Macromedia Flash Player does rely

on the net connections in the hosting browser. What you see does have

precedent.


The Shockwave Player did explicitly add some methods to accommodate POSTs

within that version of IE/Mac hosting browser, but that player doesn't have

the same size constraints found in the smaller Flash Player.


Technote #13861 does imply that the Shockwave posting problems in IE4.5/Mac

were found when the content exceeded 23K. I haven't tested that constraint

myself, and this may or may note relevant to what you're seeing, but may

also provide a path to fulfilling that project, even in that particular old

browser version.
