Thanks, this sounds like it might be the issue. I actually did a support
power search on the Macromedia site before submitting this issue here, but I
limited it to only flash.
I'm just wondering though, since this issue only seems to be a problem on PC
IE (so far), do you think if I set the parameter wmode=transparent on the
HTML page and put the jpg on a layer _behind_ the swf movie, this might
solve the problem? Normally, I'd just do it and see for myself, but I can't
reproduce this problem on Mac.
