If you're targeting movies with ../ (or with a level) or

variables with /: then you are referring to the timeline

of the base movie.  If you have just used the SWF on

its own, then this is its own timeline, but if it is being

loaded, then you are referring to the timeline of the

loading movie.  This means that the SWF is referring

to different levels depending on whether it is loaded

or not.  I'll bet that's the cause of your error...
