I think if the site gives you the option of a full screen mode or normal

mode, it would be much more friendly to visitors... That way nobody will be

stuck on a full screen site unless they ask for it.

You may want to put a hidden counter on both the full screen mode and normal

screen mode to see which version is more popular and then know in advance

whether or not to create full screen sites in the future for your

fans/customers.

I am one of those who resents having my screen taken over by a SWF.


As a developer, I often have several windows open at once and may be

checking mail and sites while waiting for something else.  I do not like

to jump through hoops to get back to another window.  I promise I will

not revisit a site that takes over the screen.
