considering how jerky it is I think they used to bitmaps for each scroll..
one is clear the other one is gaussian blurred. The blurred one has a
clipping mask and is scrolled in time with the unblurred one that does not
have a clipping mask so scrolls out from under "the glass".
Does that make sense?
