Poor Nick,
Still trying to jump to a scene. Why don't you just send us the
script you are using.
It should look something like this:
(I am ignoring your graphic because it doesn't play a part in it.)
You have a label in the first frame of scene two (for instance). The
label name is "two"
In the *instance* of the button in the movie clip you should have this
script:
On (Release)
Begin Tell Target ("/")
Go to and Play ("two")
End Tell Target
End On
Some people use ../ but just / will work.
Possible reasons for it not working include: misspelling the label
somewhere, you are trying to test in the authoring mode rather than
test movie, the button property has been changed to a graphic or...
Once or twice I have seen (and this has happened once to me) that the
button simply does not act like a button. I don't know why, it just
will not behave as one. Everything will look perfect but it will not
work. If all of your scripting is fine, try using a different button
(borrow one from the library) and see if it will work with a new
button. If this is the case you need to rebuild the button from
scratch.
