yeah, I'm on win, and I don't see anything similar in the advanced tab... I seem to remember that I had to add something to the windows registry...

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but go to:
Edit>Preferences>Advanced>> Select "Support multiple connections" and set
"max # of connections" to whatever you want.
by the way, that's for IE5 on mac. other versions might be different?
