Thanks for the info. I went through and read the article, and most things
seem to be avoidable through conscientious scripting. However, look at the
last paragraph:
" Flash content in a table cell crashes Internet Explorer 5.5 on PC Flash
content embedded in a table cell may cause crashing of Internet Explorer 5.5
with the Macromedia Flash Player 5. "
okay, i'm sorry, but that's completely unforgivable. there's no explanation
as to why, or how to work around it (it wouldn't be so bad if CSS
positioning was actually a viable alternative to table layouts, but that's a
whole other gripe.) I haven't experienced any IE crashing yet - has anybody
encountered this? Is there a way around it, without discarding tables?
