RE: FLASH: what is flash 5's maxscroll for rich text loaded externally?

hiya!


trying to make a nice scrollbar for flash 5. but it seems as if flash 5 sets

the maxscroll property for rich text loaded externally to 1, no matter how

the text is formatted. is this true?


i guess this makes sense, if the whole thing is coming in as a 1-line URL

encoded string...


i can easily get nice press-n-hold scrolling with buttons going, but am

having a little difficulty updating the flashkit flash 4 scrollbar tutorial

into flash 5 due to this fact...



any suggestions, hints, experiences?
