That seems like an unnecessarily mean remark.

I've been beginning with Flash 5 and even as a 5-year Director programmer,
and a bit of experience with Flash 4 and Java, Flash 5 is difficult to
figure out. It would have been nice to get comprehensive documentation, with
examples like Director help, to make the process of learning a smoother one.

We have made the decision to stay with Flash 4 for the time being because of
the learning curve involved in 5. We can't afford it right now. And we
aren't small. For an individual or a small company, it may be a valid
decision to wait on the expense of learning Flash 5 until the problems
people are mentioning have been ironed out.

I have found this list quite useful in my short time here. However, we don't
deserve criticism for deciding to stay with Flash 4, and neither does anyone
else.

... or don't. If this is how you make decisions, then really, maybe the
world is better off if your work doesn't get as much exposure.
