My main interest with Flash is creating cool-looking websites and doing my
online cartoons.
Flash 4 does this quite nicely for me.
I have been seeking employment for the last two-and-a-half years with anyone
who recognizes the skills and talents I have to bring to their table, so far
all to naught. Even with Macromedia, from whom I have heard nothing.
I don't get it...My wife doesn't understand it... and my kids are about to
see a crappy Christmas because of it.
I don't have the monetary resources to upgrade to Flash 5, even if I wanted
to. I technically don't have a job right now.
There are all kinds of reasons any one of us doesn't do Flash 5, and to
begrudge us that perfectly reasonable state of affairs by making comments
about how we must want to fail by not upgrading (>>... or don't. If this is
how you make decisions, then really, maybe the world is better off if your
work doesn't get as much exposure<) are rude and not in keeping with one
code of ethic I've learned in running a business: the customer is always
right.

And it's still not free.
I can't afford that right now.
