I agree with this. If I didn't have gobs of in process Flash projects and
was just setting out to learn Flash . . . I wouldn't bother with 4.
For books, go check amazon, most are yet to be printed though.

Learning 4 when you will inevitably need to learn 5 I believe would be
counter-productive.

better served to just go straight to 5, and buy yourself a Javascript book

teach yourself JS simultaneously. JS will directly and enormously aid you

understanding F5, whereas F4 is just going to start you off in one
