Subject: FLASH: Emailing Flash content

While EXEs may be the easier way out, they do pose a few issues you should
strongly consider:

File size: who wants to be stuck with a download of 300K or so in an email
attachment? Dial-up folks will not be pleased.

File size II: if you are bulk mailing, you're going to clog a LOT of
servers, and could get 'black-holed' for spamming WITH attachments!
Administrators will not be pleased.

Attachments: Right now, Outlook 2000 with all the latest security patches
will take your EXE and 'corral' it from the recipient, never to be seen by
humans again, as it is considered a virus (or carrier). Also, a lot of
corporate email systems do similar things (I speak from actual experience,
as an ex-corporate MIS person, and from customer confusion when I sent EXEs
for project review). A lot of folks will not be pleased.

Macintosh: they don't do EXEs. Mac folks will...oh, you get the mantra.

So, my vote is for the tried and true link to a web site. Ever get a 'card'
from e-greetings? Follow the link....
