John, I'm going to question your statement that "It's a little bit cheaper
to use a graphic symbol" than a Movie Clip. I was told by MULTIPLE
presenters at the FlashForward2000 conference that heavily nested graphic
symbols (a graphic inside a graphic inside a graphic, etc.) are actually
BIGGER than heavily nested Movie Clips. They chalked it up to a Flash quirk
(this was Flash 4 at the time).
I have not verified this on my own, however.
