FLASH: ActionScript Help

[George Gleissner]

I am working on a game where an object is thrown along a predefined motion

path.

When I try to place the coordinates of that object in a variable I only get 

where the instance was initially placed.


I need the variable to update as the object moves along the path.

Any ideas?
