Unfortunately, you have to admit that the conferences are much more
expensive to run than a online support system and large scale software
manufacturing.

I have to say that I concur with Thorvald Neumann's feelings.
Macromedia should consider making its conferences as accessible as
its software.
Unless it is targetted exclusively at business users of Flash.
In which case it might be fine (I suppose).
