At the risk of getting flamed big time, and no, I have no idea who this is,
I just read the mentioned article, and I am reading others, this Nielsen guy
does appear to have some good points about site structure. Flash sites are
not always intuitive, and I'm sure, even in the year 2000, some sites that
are bigger on neat animations than straight content are losing some visitors
that just don't want to sit and wait. I know I won't wait that long for a
site to load because there are plenty of others that don't make me wait.
I know I'm a Flash newbie, and just getting into web site creation, but the
message of moderation and remembering the user experience sounds like a good
one to me, even if the delivery is a bit terse.
But go easy, I have only read 5 articles of his and never had lunch with
him.

Sat at his table for lunch last year... I left without eating.
A few weeks ago I saw a site that had 'FUCK JACOB NIELSEN' t-shirts for
sale, does anybody know the url? I am ready to invest...
Cheers
