it's a tough thing, certainly.  not that it's totally Flash related, but i

recently made a page that used CSS to simulate the standard OS tabbed-window

effect, so the user could use tabs to call up different screens (all on the

same HTML page).  when a test user clicked on a tab to view a screen, she

promptly clicked the back button to go back to the previous screen.  of

course, this took her away from the page altogether.


certain things get ingrained.  not to say it's not worth it to buck that

trend, but accept that you're in for a fight if you do.
