AOL use the Microsoft browser control inside their browser. That is why it
upgrades when you upgrade IE. This is Microsoft's way of making their code
available like Netscape without actually exposing their code.
Hope this helps you make some sense?

I guess though I am not sure about it. AOL integrates its browser with
any IE you have installed on your PC. For instance if you upgrade your
IE browser to 4.0 your AOL browser will automaticaly get upgraded. And I
guess IE4.0 supports Flash.. and the best way is just to call AOL tech
support, if they know what they are doing.
