I too have asked about this before, and with the responses that I received, I am working on a solution :-) So far I've been able to make a URL open with a BAT file, but only if I already know the path of the browser! I am (hopefully) going to be working with a programmer sometime this week - we are going to see if there is a way to make an executable to call up the relative URL in the default browser... (my HTML file will actually be on a CD, not on the net, but I think it would be easy to modify such a file to work in any case) I will post here when we come up with a successful solution. In the meantime, if anyone has been able to work this magic, I am sure there are a few of us who would be quite interested in learning the trick :-)

Subject: FLASH: projector addresses a browser
I know this may have been covered before so I apologize for any redundancy.
What I am trying to do is launch a web page from the Flash standalone
player.
I know that there is an FS Command:exec that will launch a browser if its
path is known. This is not an option since there is no way for us to know
the directory path of a browser on a given users machine.
My question is: if a browser is already open is there a way to do a "get
url" in the standalone player that will bring the browser to the front and
go to a web page.
So far just using "get url" with a target window of "_blank" does nothing.
Is this possible to achieve?
thanks
