To confirm, FSCommand <> "javascript:" URLs... two very different beasties.

As John C noted, individual browsers may or may not support "javascript:"
URLs from plugin/control objects in the page. (Have you tried that page in
IE4.5/Mac?)

IE/Mac, in its various versions, still does not offer anything like the
two-way communication between script and object that's available through
Netscape's LiveConnect technology and Microsoft ActiveX Scripting for
Windows.
