How many frames per second was the sun flickering at last time you looked at it, Tim?

Would I be correct in thinking that a movie with 24 fps would be more or less twice the file size of the same movie with only 12 fps?

Is it possible to set up a piffle filter on this list?

Actually, the refresh rate that the human eye can perceive actually depends on the luminance (some characteristic like that) the light source is. Its referred to as the CFF (controled(?) flicker factor).

Sometimes depending on the condition the eye can see higher flicker rates..the general threshold is actually above 25 frames per second, but because television and film, etc..is generally alot darker than say the luminance of the sun, you dont notice any flickering.
