FLASH: Substitute for PowerPoint

I normally use PowerPoint to make lecture slides. I have converted 

several of my lectures to Flash to deliver over the web. Questions: 

has anyone tried to make slides from Flash? how to optimize quality? 

and has anyone used video projection with Flash?  Finally, is there a 

tool or method to convert PowerPoint to Flash?
