Subject: FLASH: RE: What hardware should I buy?
From: Gagliolo, Bruce (LAB Account)

The inputs I'm receiving to the question I posed are great. Those of you who
support your response with reasons why, are really doing a service. I hope
to get more ideas before I need to submit my (your) recommendations. Here is
additional information that my influence your suggestions:

* I can work on an NT (SP4), Windows 95, or 98 machine (we will be
moving to Windows 2000 after we work out the integration issues)
* I have software, hardware, and network (NT) experts available for
support.
* These workstations will be unique to all other computers on the
network.
* My customer will consider a separate server to support WBT,
streaming video, and video conferencing, and Internet phone.
* My audience is both in house (same location as the server) and at
several locations halfway around the world.

Does any of this matter? Probably.

I don't think speakers are a consideration. I need to think about headsets.
My customer wouldn't stand for a battle of the speakers.

Hope this info helps. You responses certainly help me.

THANKS!!

Bruce
