my hard drive frags really badly when i use flash- as bad as when i'm doing
video stuff in after effects. i make it a point of running nortons utilities
at least once a week if not more for this reason. i defragged sunday and
today i started seeing a degradation in my mac and found that i had a these
fragmented files again. norton's to the rescue.

its really not flash's "fault" so much as a function of the way flash
works; temp files thats created so you can undo and preview, etc.

try running norton's disk optimisation then try recovering with nortons and
see if that helps...
