I've got the standalone version which is excellent! I create the models
in lightwave and export them into vector 3d as .3ds files. which i then
surface in vector 3d.
the only problem i've had is a few clitches in the final rendering but
this can usually be repaired in flash (this could be down to my modeling
however which after 4 years is still something i have problems with).
Its fairly easy to use with libraries of simple animations and textures
to save time.

hey you guys (and by this i include the ladies too - hehehe)

i came across www.vecta3d.com - have a look @ vat - the examples are
amazing - and it does gradient shading, and its available as a
standalone
tool as well (not only as a 3dstudiomax plugin) and i think its $59 ....

If i wasnt earnings RANDS i most certaibly would have bought this one
