Hi Thomas,

The cartoon walk is being translated into Flash like this: the original
pencil drawn animation has been scanned and traced in Flash. I've turned as
many parts of him as possible into symbols. They are animated by motion
tweens. Things that change from frame to frame, like his hair, or his
moustache were not made into symbols, and are being animated frame by frame.
I have just finished the second part of that cartoon and will put it there
sometime later. The most tedious part about animatiing like this is that
every little bit has to be on a layer of it's own.

The shadow is basically just 19 frames or so, but there are no keys: it's
completely frame by frame, and every position had to be done separately.
This one was drawn directly into Flash. Because it was all contour, the
outline mode was very helpful.

That's it...hope it helps..

Chris
