Subject: FLASH: small rollover problem
From: Anthony Faust

hello,

i have a small problem regarding buttons.

I have 5 buttons on one layer, spread out from each other. I also have a
"t.v screen" on another layer. when a person rolls over a button, i want a
tidbit of info to appear in the t.v screen. Right now, it is an MC with just
the words on it. The t.v screen is in the scene with the buttons.

So it's like this.....in Scene 1, there's a layer with the buttons, a layer
with the MC, and a layer with the t.v screen.

Right now, the t.v screen can be placed over the buttons, but the buttons
are still "rolloverable". In other words, the button can be hidden under the
t.v screen, but when I roll my mouse over it, it still works.

I want to make it so that when a person rolls their mouse over the t.v
screen, the buttons underneath WILL NOT work......

Do I need to put the t.v screen in the same MC that the tidbits of info are
in?........does the t.v screen need to be in a MC period?

thanks,

anthony
