It might be easier to count how many pages are
viewed by someone with Flash, rather than count
how many 'people' have flash, since it is so hard to
keep track of people without using cookies, and
even then you don't know if the same person is on
the same machine, etc, etc...
You could have a self-detecting sniffer movie, figure
out the version and report it to a server-side database.
That method should fail gracefully in browsers that
don't have the plug-in. It seems like with 3,000,000
'visitors' (I don't know how you test if they're unique
visitors, but maybe you mean 'hits') you've got a lot
of people coming to the site that aren't necessarily
going through the first page. I think you'll have to forget
about them though, because putting a sniffer on all
pages would be too complex. You should get pretty
reliable numbers testing on the first page....just make
sure you also log how many people _don't_ have the
plug-in too, so you're not comparing apples to oranges.
