Thanks guys. I'm flattered. I've been having a great time teaching for
the past several years and the chance to mix it up with all of the
Macromedia web publishing tools is really enjoyable. This year has really
pushed me into all of the products much deeper - especially since I'm now
doing one-on-one training for the Macromedia technical support staff. They
ask nothing but really hard questions! =8-O
I prefer doing lecture format training because I'm able to deliver more
than twice as much information in a given time period. That's also the
reason why we are unique among most of the MACR Authorized Trainers
worldwide in that we develop our own training materials from scratch. Our
experience is that the Macromedia developed materials are excellent for
beginning and intermediate users but don't always offer the depth that
advanced developers want.
BTW - I hear nothing but good things about the FigLeaf folks. We work with
and train many of the MACR Authorized Trainers worldwide and FigLeaf has
definitely earned a noticeable reputation among them.
Regards,
Terry
P.S. We are planning an AustraliAsia seminar tour for Q1 next year with
Macromedia. Hong Kong is definitely on the list of candidate cities. I
was in Singapore and Taipei this year and really enjoyed my first visit
there.
