I, too, would have to say they are looking for a full

time employee .... I'd seriously ask them if thats

what they want.  


Otherwise .... find out what the doing rate is for a

consultant and how much you're willing (depending on

your locale) to take if they hire you on full time and

offer both solutions to them.


You might just have found a new full time position, or

a really high paying consultant job ;-)
