FLASH: Random Movement with ActionScript

Greetings... 


This is my first post to this list, and I must say it is very useful,

relevant, and on-topic compared to other mailing lists. kudos!


I'm looking to have a few elements in my movie move around randomly within

the boundaries of the movie. Could someone point me in the direction of

being able to understand that type of actionscripting?


Also, any other help with understanding ActionScript programming in general

would be very useful. I'm not a programmer at all, but I see the benefits of

learning how to use this aspect of Flash. I've been through many tutorials,

but the underlying concept of scripting (variables, properties, OOP, etc) is

eluding me... :(
