Hmmm... curious...


If the logos look bitmapped it could be a couple of things. If they were traced 'exactly' with Color Threshold set to 1 and Min Area set to 1, they would basically be 'bitmaps' and would look pixelated. The other possibility is that you're actually using the bitmaps, but you should have deleted these from the library after tracing and creating vectorized MCs.


If you traced the bitmaps with that much precision, your tracings will contain a LOT of information and therefore be very big (possibly bigger than the original bitmaps). Yup, I just did a test and a bitmap, as is, created a 5K SWF, and when traced this way created a 46K SWF.


Try selecting the logos and Optimizing the Curves. If that doesn't do enough, try retracing your bitmaps and play with the settings, for logos you should be able to get away with a lot of optimization since they're probably fairly simple shapes. Otherwise you could even trace them by hand.
