FLASH:Could somebody please explain array.sort(orderfunc)?

Hi.

Could somebody explain how to use array.sort(orderfunc)or direct me to some 

documentation?

I do not understand the orderfunc thing. There is an example in the 

actionscript dictionary but I can't figure out what it's doing. Does anybody 

know? I'm sure once I understand it will be painfully obvious but right now 

I'm banging my head against the wall.
