It's mainly playback speed. Musta been the way I developed because I can't
get the playback speed to average out acceptably between the two players. 5
is much faster than 4. It mainly affects motion tweens. I used them allot in
my F4 development.

I also have this one scroll routine at a bunch of different F4 movies on the
web that the f5 player doesn't like. It just doesn't work anymore and
conflicts with other code that executes simultaneously. Might as well use F5
better scrolling methods and just require 5.

I tried opening some of my previous 4 stuff in 5 and publishing back to 4,
and that cured some stuff thus could still only *require* the 4 player for
certain movies. But for the most part, I figured it is just best to open the
fla's in 5, publish and test and then require the 5 player.

The 5 player is so much more optimized and smoother than 4 and I just
couldn't get them to look the same in both. I figured I'll just get most of
my previous work up to par with 5 because I really only want to use one
Flash authorer, which is 5.

I have pretty much changed everything already. If you really want some
examples, let me know and I can repost them.

Have you got any examples online? Is it more than just a
playback speed problem? I don't intend to switch to F5
SWFs anytime soon, so this is a concern, but I haven't had
any problems between the players on my test machines.
