as far as the shopping cart goes I think there is a tutorial on that In the

Flash Magic 4 book.  Slightly out of date, but I bet the techniques would

work the same.

Ello one and all,


Just recently I fell out of the world of sound design and was introduced

to the grand scope of flash based graphic design. since that fateful day,

I've been working on my first flash site (which also happens to also be

my first real job in the web design world). My first question is a quickie,

does anybody know (or know a URL for a page regarding) how to

make a flash based shopping cart/ check out setup for a webpage...


Nothing fancy.. hell.. something like this (www.sonicgroove.com) would

suffice.


My second question is probably easier, but will take a bit more time to

explain.


short-> how do I make buttons in buttons?


the long-> on my page, I have an intro scene that ends with two  names..

(which I made as buttons). When I roll over the names, I have a menu of

other selections appear. within the edit screen for the main button, I

defined

these menu options (which, of course, appear in the 'Over' state) as

button symbols, and placed them on their own layer. After this, I gave them

their own Over characteristics and defined their tracking status as 'menu

option'.


... but they still don't work.


any ideas?
