Hi Richard,
Maybe if you are using textfields you have not deselected the draw background
and borders section in the properties dialog box and it is these that are
covering the lines? (Right click on the textt object; select Properties)
To find the lines try hiding and unhiding layers (to the left of the timeline)
to see where they have gone to. Or else try selecting things that look like they
might be covering up the lines and select Modify/Arrange/Move backwards...
You may have tried all this and I am sorry if this info has just frustrated you
even more!! Lastly and don't bite my head off but are you sure you are looking
at the most recent version of the file? I f you are like me and make big changes
and then save the file under a different name this can happen.
Good luck
Rosie
Several days ago I asked the best way to create corporate forms in Flash 4, and
several people suggested drawing them in Flash so they would be vectors. It
works great! But, the problem is that sometimes after I draw the lines
separating sections of the forms, the lines disappear! If I go back to edit the
Form, the text is there, but the lines may not be. Some of them are there,
others are not.
