FLASH: Aiiiieee! Illustrator 9 wont export swf

Hi everyone,


Mac OS9.4:  Illustrator 9 gets an error "Flash Export has encountered an 

unknown error" when exporting my way-cool typography to Flash.

I have Flash5, and find that it can only import Illustrator 6/below files.


Saving my way-cool typography to ill.v6 ruins it.


I see no patches on Adobe's site; I DO see a Flash export plug-in for 

ill.v8; I don't see a patch allowing Flash to import ill.v9 files.


What can I do?  This stuff cost me a bundle and I want to throw it out the 

window, and deadlines approach...
