Don't recall Basecamp having a timesheet function if that is important to you. Otherwise it would be suitable for what you describe. By putting the real time used for events into the calendar, you can of course record how much time was used, as opposed to time scheduled. I don't recall a time reporting function when I used Basecamp but there may be an add-on available. You could also explore exporting the data into Excel for further analysis. The heart of Zoho is the CRM offering and you can have invoicing and project management add-ons. I haven't used these but one review I read suggests Zoho Projects is more like a shared To-do list.
