Hi all

On a related note – does anyone have a list of mobile devices they’d be willing to share for the purposes of detecting & presenting visitors with the mobile option? Or if there’s 1 to license can you point me at it?

I’ll look ours out too when I get a minute.

hi, John,

the 80/20 way to do this on a tiny budget is probably just CSS. If your client sites are small with only a handful of page templates, a good CSS developer should be able to put together something fairly quickly that works & looks ok.

Here's an old but useful article on this: http://perishablepress.com/the-5-minute-css-mobile-makeover/

Hi All

Got a few clients thinking about mobile websites for their existing businesses. I can see there's a number of mobile website solutions in circulation... some of which are more, ahem, dubious than others. Like the ones, for example, who deliver you a mobile site which is not connected to your main website (so, how DO your normal website visitors see it, then!)

Anyone like to share a good service for mobile websites for agencies as I'm not really quite sure how to pitch it and it's difficult to fit clients into a monthly payment model when they're used to paying for builds?

Cheers
