[uk-netmarketing] Sending regulatory emails

Afternoon all,

I'm looking for some advice on a problem regarding sending emails to
customers.

We currently use Mailchimp for client email campaigns - while we like
the interface and general functionality, the one gripe I have is the low
tolerance they have and their willingness to suspend accounts without
consideration of the real world situation which may have arisen.

Our particular issue is that many of our clients are in financial
services and so there are occasions when we must notify all customers,
such as a change of terms and conditions. This is a regulatory
requirement from the FSA.

Recognising that some users will still complain, can the list recommend
any solutions for sending these types of emails across UK & Europe where
we are not going to get suspended? We've previously sent emails via our
own outbound mail servers, but in my opinion email now needs to be
handled by specialists to maintain good deliverability and tracking, so
really don't want to return to trying to do this ourselves.

I would welcome any general thoughts and recommendations

Phil
