Hi All,

Once again I am running the gauntlet of what's appropriate to post to the list, I do hope this slides through but @Sam, totally no worries if not!

Bima are running an event in London on the 24th and again on the 31st in Edinburgh called "how to win awards" the aim is to give genuine incite into the awards process, help people to craft thier entries better (often the deciding factor in my experience) and have a frank and open discussion about people's thoughts, prejudices and ideas for improvement.

I'm hoping you might be able to help with two things:

1) we're currently looking for another panellist to join the Edinburgh panel, ideally someone client-side to give a balanced perspective and help avoid the event descending into a schlong comparison exercise :)

2) I was wondering if you might like to contribute some questions for us to put to the panel? It can be anything you like, I'm sure that many of you wonder about corruption in awards - before I got involved with the BIMAs I certainly did - or maybe you want to know why such and such won verses another project... Really, go for it, I want to us to be putting the panel on the spot.

Yes, it is a bit of a plug but I am honestly genuinely interested in this. So… taking the below:

I like it, a great plug ... and then a question at the end ... no, I don't think it's gameification... because if I were to define it (I know there are loads of definitions, but this is mine):
Gameification is the incorporation of gaming ideas, principles, methods and actions into non-gaming environments and processes.

Anyway, that's just IMHO.

What yo got is a competition there, mate!
