Hi SI

Others may have another opinion but we've found they're all much of a muchness for small turnover clients.

SagePay is the one we recommend to small businesses, mainly because they have always been quick to respond & helpful when there are problems. There are cheaper options but you quickly realise that 1% of sales isn't much of saving when you can't get hold of their support.

We've found it advisable to include PayPal as an option too, as it provides a veneer of security to those less willing to hand out card details to unfamiliar sites.

On another note, both Amazon & Ebay stores aren't too hard to set up, they already have the traffic and some of our small business clients have generated far more sales through them than their own dedicated ecommerce sites. There are pros and cons to this route but it's less of a commitment or initial expense for a small business, especially if they just want to try it out. It's not ideal and the fees are high, but it may be worth considering as an alternative / addition.
