[uk-netmarketing] PayPal Payments Pro

Hiya Paul,

Ouch. That sounds painful. We've not had any security issues with Paypal in
the past. Errors in the accounting yes, but security, no.

The SSL encryption won't make any difference is the credit card details are
only being handled at the Paypal end of things. There could be all sorts of
reasons that people are claiming this, including trojans/keyloggers on
their computers, malware on the clients' site or a problem with Paypal.

I'd be checking the clients site and servers for any security issues, as
well as getting the client to contact the clients to find out the full
circumstances of the transactions i.e. which cards were used, where did
they enter the details, etc.

Never had much luck at getting info out of Paypal in the past, but they
were definitely getting better/slightly quicker at responding to queries
last time we had one.

Good luck and keep us posted on how this pans out.

Toodle Pip
