Posting to here and the first Tuesday site is a good start but I suggest you
don't go after the names and emails of people working in start ups angle for
one major reason. Skilled people are important to most companies - if you
are going to ask any company to take part in a talk etc then I suggest you
ask for the names of start up companies not individuals.

Scient is daily set upon by recruiters and head hunters. Unfortunately for
them none get through by phone and there are many reasons why people only
leave Scient to start up their own company (usually in partnership with
Scient) or do totally unrelated work.

Personally I'm all for any move to help student join our industry as so many
colleges out there are still teaching pointless things like FrontPage and
(dare I say it) Director.
