It's getting very difficult to get near the top of the search engines for

any generic keywords. I'd suggest a better bet is to make sure you're

splattered all over Yahoo! Whatever your do, read the wise words of


http://www.searchenginewatch.com/ before you hand over any cash.


For a big international site launch, I was pretty pleased with the results

I got using Eric Ward's www.netpost.com and www.urlwire.com service -

superior service compared to automatic search engine submittals and

particularly good in terms of getting relevant Yahoo! listings.
