UKNM: VC's and confidential info

Hi,

Any legal experts out there?


A company has been holding discussions with a potential investor who signed

an NDA prohibiting them from discussing info marked as confidential with any

party not an officer, employee or agent of their Co.. During the course of

negotiations they told us other aspects with contacts in a sort of media

organisation.


They have now decided to decline to invest which is fair enough but refuse

to

reveal who they discussed it with, and seem to be implying that they ever

did, despite having admitted to one breach in an email.


Any advice on what we might do next?  Off list if you prefer.
