The 'chicken and egg' bit troubles -- although doesn't surprise -- me i.e.

how do you know how much of a marketing budget to build in to the business

plan until you've costed the campaign with the marketeers? No VC's going to

consider an approach until the business plan is watertight, including the

marketing budget, and no marketing big boy wants to know until the startup

at least looks like being credible. Beam me up, Yossarian.


Guess it's foot in the door time, persuading those with the wherewithal to

care 'n' share before they see the cash. Any takers?


Don't suppose the buggers will work for share options?! Nope, don't suppose
