On a personal level, I have no real problem with these.

However, if you are looking to provide a good ROI and as I have said before
on this forum, a targeted text link would I believe work a hell of a lot
better - I have read a number of replies and Ray makes a lot of sense with
the "hot news" idea - changing the content regularly could only enhance the
response.

Interesting though that most of us are proponents of the banner in one shape
or form in our search for revenues, but not in my back-yard !!
